Match report A horrible day for cricket at Scholes....

The rain never really stopped however we managed to get a 30 over game on the way. We lost the toss and were put in and batted very well. We went a good run rate from the off despite losing opening Max Berry for 0. Myself(60) and Guy Pearson(48) put on 115 in 14 overs. Some lusty blows propelled us to the score of 157-4 from 21 overs, when i declared - hoping for enough time between rain showers to bowl Holmfirth out.

We managed to get on the field and take a wicket, however that was all the weather would allow and the game was called off.

Always frustrating when you get rained off while in the ascendancy! What can you do though? Never mind....
